About Me
I'm a portrait artist who lives in Mill Valley, CA. At various times during my life I have worked on my art but only in fits and starts, amidst all the other elements of learning, working, and parenting. Ultimately I was able to turn my full attention to art and dedicate myself to it.
About My Work
I am enamored with the human face and the challenge of depicting it and the spirit behind it. I especially enjoy drawing portraits of people who would never dream that an artist would draw them. Sometimes my work strives to heighten the awareness of non-profit organizations and the people they support. It's a marvelously effective way to enhance sense of self, self-esteem and pride.
