Exploration of overlapping colors moving in space with energy and intention. My work does not begin with an image of what I want the painting to be. It begins with the laying down of the first color flowing from the brush I spread, drop or brush the pigment onto the material. The painting begins to take on a life of its own with each additional layer of color and stroke is in direct response to what is evolving before me.
