I am a native SanFranciscan and a graduate of San Francisco State University. I discovered watercolor painting to be a challenging media because it demands definiteness and at the same time, fluidity. I endeavor to capture the subtleties of light and shade. I find pleasure in investigating nature and the environment, observing its form and hue, and interpreting what I see with clear, crisp, and lucid lines and color. I paint to tell a story and remind the viewer of special places and moments in their lives.
