About Me

I'm a retired scientist who loves to experiment. I not only did experiments for a living, I also did them to teach myself painting. There were/are artists in my family, so I had opportunities to observe and learn from them as well, and I enjoy observing art when ever I have a chance to do so. Because I have traveled, I have had lots of opportunities. I'm a new California resident; I anticipate more exciting opprotunities here.

About My Work

Most of my paintings are landscapes, cityscapes or imagined natural settings, but I have experimented with both abstract works and portraits as well. I do mostly acrylic on canvas paintings that emphasize color and light, but I also want to stimulate other senses too, like feeling a breeze, hearing water, sensing fresh air.
