About Me
BA from UC Davis and MS in Physical Therapy from University of the Pacific. I have been working as a home care physical therapist in Marin for seventeen years. My studies in art took place at Schuler School of Fine Art in Baltimore, MD, Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA and Marin Art School in Novato, CA.
About My Work
Most of my paintings are still life themes in the style of contemporary realism with diverse inspirational sources. This approach spans creative customs from the 17th C Dutch Masters to the 21st C Northern California Colorist Tradition. Each painting emerges from several layers of delicate glazes - an exploration of the beauty and mystery of nature and a contemplative process. Currently I am exhibiting in Gallery Elite in Carmel, CA.
